JIRCs 2015
The Junior Inter Regional Champs were hosted in the West Midlands on September 26th/27th.
The individual race at Brereton Spurs was characterised by a spur/valley slope. This was covered in head-high bracken which unfortunately necessitated running around the paths for the majority of the legs and favoured later runners once paths had been beaten through the bracken.
The relays were held at Oldacre where the bracken was replaced by patches of brambles.
The NWJS team ran well and placed second to a strong Scotland team. Congratulations to the athletes and thanks to the coaches and drivers who supported the weekend.
