Norway Tour 2006
The squad has just got back from Norway. It was an great tour and hopefully everyone has improved!

Becca at JWOC
Past squad member Rebecca Roberts (South Ribble OC and Loughborough University) competed at the Junior World Orienteering Championships held in Lithuania at the start of July. Despite suffering from a cold all week she still put in decent results and the experience can only help if she makes next year's Championships in Australia.

The Champs were attended by plenty of GB spectators to support the team, including Rhys Findlay-Robinson of DEE, Alex Bedwell of MDOC and Matt Rooke of LOC. There was the opportunity for the spectators to compete in a 5 day event on the same areas, which was great especially at the end of the week when the courses were similar to those used for JWOC.

NW juniors at JWOC and EYOC
Junior World Championships - Lithuania, July 2006
Rebecca Roberts (SROC) has been selected to represent Great Britian following her impressive Future Champions Cup results.
European Youth Championships - Slovenia, June/July 2006
Dave Schorah (DEE) has been selected for this event, an international competition for M/W18s.
Chris Smithard (DEE) has been selected as reserve.
